With offices in Japan, New Hampshire and a satelite office in California,
KAW strives to furnish its customers with innovative technologies for PCB
design, simulation, and IC package design/simulation. To ensure that customers

the world's most sophisticated EDA tools.
The Challenges of Our Market
Today's product developers face enormous challenges as the speed
and complexity of digital designs continue to climb to operating frequencies
exceeding 200 MHZ. This makes signal integrity and timing a critical design
issue. Developers also face other critical concerns, from meeting emission
requirements and regulations to optimizing thermal performance and mean-time-before-failure
parameters.
Meanwhile, competitive time-to-market constraints continue to compress development
times. More analysis and simulations are required up front, well before
layout ever begins, for re-iterations (ECO's) at the layout stage lead to
higher costs and to costly delays in the development schedule.
KAW Solution
The answer to successful and efficient product design lies in careful
planning, of course. New design methodologies, rules engines, and developmental
tools are emerging from leading EDA vendors. These tools and methodologies
are essential if we are to meet critical and competitive time-to-market
constraints. We must push physical design decisions further upstream in
the design process, while tools and models must be leveraged to ensure that
more work is done up front, in less time, and with greater accuracy.
